You don’t need a lot for the project, just a few supplies.  You can easily find all of these supplies at your local craft store:

  • Mason jars
  • red, white, blue tissue paper
  • Modge Podge
  • tea lights

The first thing you want to do is take your tissue papers and tear them into small pieces.  Mix all of the colors together.

Next, cover the outside of your Mason Jar with Mod Podge.  Give it a really good thick coat.

After you have the Mason jars covered in Mod Podge, roll the jars in the torn tissue so they will stick to the jars.  Trim up the top as needed, and allow the jars to dry.

Once your jars are dry, add your tea lights and place them on your tablescape.  It make such a beautiful and festive ambiance.

I hope you enjoyed another one of my simple diy projects! Are you decorating your home or having a party for the 4th of July?  If so, make sure you try this quick and easy Patriotic Mason Jar tea Lights a part of your party! Have a wonderful week.
