Diy Holiday Paper Pumpkin

DIY Paper Pumpkin

Good day My Crafty Spot readers! It’s Jen from PinkWhen back to share another fun craft with you today. I hope you have all been enjoying this new Fall weather! While it stays warmer here in Louisiana, it is finally starting to cool down! To celebrate Fall, today I am going to share with you a quick and easy craft for DIY Paper Pumpkins.

These are so cute and fun to decorate with. You can use different types of papers and create some really unique a different ideas to either decorate around the house with, a desk with, or even your dining table for Thanksgiving.

To get started, we need a few supplies:

  • 10 pieces of paper cut to 1″ by 6″
  • a hole punch
  • wired twine
  • leaves

The first thing you want to do is take your wire and your paper and place them together in a row on the wire. Once you have done that, make sure to bend the wire so it creates an easy sitting position for your paper pumpkin when finished.

After you have your papers positioned, go ahead and start spreading things out until you are happy with the look.

Next you will want to add in your leaves. I had these on hand from a previous project, but you could use paper leaves like these, or even buy a small little bunch from the fabric flower section of your local craft store. Just punch a hole and then add them onto the wire.

Once you leaves are on, you are almost done! Take your twine and twist it around a pen or something similar and create a little corkscrew twist.
