DIY Christmas Gift Tags

Happy December Crafters! It’s Erin, again from The Blue Eyed Dove. Although I don’t spend a ton of time crafting this month {because I like to keep busy with as many holiday festivities as possible} I do take some time to make one of my favorite crafts…Christmas Gift Tags! It’s a quick and easy craft that helps me get rid of random pieces of scrapbook paper that I tend to hoard throughout the year. So if you collect extra pieces of scrapbook paper like I do this may be the perfect Christmas craft for you!

Decorative Embellishments like Trim & Bows {random glitzy things you find in the $$ bins at craft stores}

Gift Tags How-To

  1. Determine the size of the tag you would like to make, measure and cut accordingly. My tags are 2 3/4″ tall by 2″ wide.
  2. Trim the top edges of the tags down and outward, making the bottom of the tag larger than the top.
  3. Add your decorative embellishments to the gift tag.
  4. Use a hole punch to create a hole at the top tag.
  5. Insert your ribbon through the hole, add your gift recipients name to the tag and attach to your present.

Simple and very resourceful! And such a fun way to add a personal touch to your Christmas gifts this year…not to mention you really get to use up most of that leftover scrapbook paper! Bonus 😉
