Candy Corn Fall Craft

Candy Corn 023

Hi Crafters! It’s Erin again, back from The Blue Eyed Dove. Are you ever in the need of a quick and easy craft to help keep a little one occupied? Well do I have a project for you! And it’s pretty perfect for this time of the year too. Think fall…and one of fall’s best candies 🙂

While strolling the aisles of Jo-Ann Fabrics one day I stumbled upon these wooden blocks that are shaped into various fall-themes. Having the large sweet tooth that I do I decided the candy corn shaped blocks would be the perfect craft for me to make with some cute kiddos during an upcoming babysitting venture. Kids love to craft too, right?!

  • Wooden Blocks
  • Mod Podge
  • Scissors
  • Scrapbook Paper
  • Paint
  • Paint Brushes

  1. Paint the edges of the blocks and let dry.
  2. Trace each block shape onto scrapbook paper and cut out.
  3. Next, add a thin layer of Mod Podge to the top of the block.
  4. Place the scrapbook paper to the top of the block.
  5. Lastly, apply a thin layer of Mod Podge on top of the scrapbook paper {and also the sides of the block} to seal, and let dry.

That’s it! You can of course use fabric, paint, scrapbook paper {really anything} to spruce up your blocks.

I can’t wait to make this easy fall craft with those cute kiddos soon! I’m guessing we might as well eat lots of candy corn while we craft too…no brainer 🙂

Be sure to stop by my blog to see some of my other crafts!

Have a great day!
