Upcycled Jewelry Stand

Processed with Moldiv

Ready for the easiest and most useful project you’ll ever complete? This upcycled jewelry stand is, hands down, the absolute easiest and most utilized project I’ve ever done. Ever.

I made it few years ago when I was frustrated with rummaging through my jewelry box in a mad search for accessories. It sits on my dresser and although I’ve added trinkets over the years, it remains remarkably organized and efficient. The open concept makes for a unique display, plus allows easy access to all my accessories. I really do love it and seriously use it everyday.

What you’ll need:

* Thread spool holder
* Stain or spray paint
* Sandpaper

I found an old spool holder hiding in my closet a few years ago, but you can find one at any craft or fabric store.

To achieve the same look pictured, wipe on some stain and allow it to dry.

Spray silver spray paint over the entire piece and let it dry completely before sanding it to reveal some of the stain.

Add necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings.

A heads up when loading up your new jewelry holder — some metals may tarnish if left out in the open air for a long period of time.

Enjoy your unique, new jewelry display!
