Christmas is a’coming! Panic mode is about to set in around the 3 Little Greenwoods’ house.
Before holiday craziness takes over I have got to tell you about the Snowflake Plate Charger I made for my Christmas table. It’s simple, sparkly, and was made from Dollar Store snowflakes!
We all know you never know what you are going to find at the Dollar Store. So when I stumbled across these packages of white, plastic snowflakes I grabbed them up. It’s better to pick up something you might use on a craft than to hurt yourself racing back to get it and find it’s gone. Can I get an amen?
My dining room table was in need of some fancying up so I decided to create a Snowflake Plate Charger to add a little sparkle to the tablescape. Before the project got started I needed a circle to follow. One of my fancy Christmas plates served as a large template.
I simply taped together three pieces of paper together. Then flipped over the plate, stole a marker from the children, and drew around the edges.
The snowflakes were arranged around the circle then hot glued into place. I made several layers of snowflakes by gluing them on top of each other as I went around the circle. Note: Place parchment paper over the circle to prevent sticking. Trust me.
In the end, I used both packages of snowflakes on one DIY Snowflake Plate Charger. Isn’t it pretty laying on my plaid placemat?
Here it is on my Christmas table. Love it!
Now I’m off to the Dollar Store to buy more snowflakes! Save me some if you get there before me!
Merry Christmas, everyone!
Your comments totally make my day!
They give me huge motivation to keep creating and having fun with my 3 Little Greenwoods!

What a clever idea!! Looks great on your table!! What do you do with all the seasonal pretties you make during their off-season? Storage really becomes an issue!
Storage is a huge issue for all the craftiness we create, isn’t it? But it’s a great problem to have!
Merry Christmas!
