Slam Dunk Basketball Door Decor

Hey My Crafty Spot readers! It’s Ashley from 3 Little Greenwoods back to share a bouncingly brilliant project!

Our family has two little basketball players who have spent their first season learning how to dribble, pass, and make a three pointer. To honor them I created this Slam Dunk Basketball Door Decor.

Slam Dunk Basketball Door Decor

This is a super simple project that only needs a few supplies to make. Let me show you how I did it!

Basketball Door Decor

  • foam core circle
  • orange craft paper
  • black craft paint
  • washi tape
  • wired ribbon for bow
  • spray adhesive

Celebrate your love of Basketball with a DIY Basketball Door Decor! Super easy tutorial to create your own!

Step One – Cut foam core into a 15″ circle. A serrated kitchen knife is my favorite way to shape foam core.

Step Two – Use spray adhesive to attach orange craft paper to one side of the foam core circle.

Step Three – Add coordinating washi tape to edges of circle. Notch the edge of the tape to allow it to lay smoothly around the sides.

Step Four – Paint traditional basketball stripes with black craft paint.

Step Five – Add a fabulous bow to support your favorite team! {Click here} for an easy wreath bow tutorial.
