DIY Towel Wine Bottle Carrier

DIY WIne Bottle Carrier

I have lost count; there have simply been too many moments I have needed an extra hand that it would be impossible to keep track. In the heat of the summer I usually feel that I could really use an extra hand or even two! There are picnics to attend, outdoor concerts or parades that need items carted for, BBQ’s at the neighbors, and can we talk about a beach day!! Well I have tried and tried and tried but no matter how hard I try, I just can’t seem to grow more arms than I currently have.   I do however have a handy little way to carry a few bottles of vino for your next party or event. A few years back I saw a photo of this little trick and I instantly tried it.

This fun and easier carrier also makes for a great hostess gift, wrap and roll and on you go! Just choose a towel with the events theme or your invitee’s kitchen and boom, easy to carry easy to give! What a lovely wedding gift would two bottles of bubbly be in a towel to compliment the couple’s new kitchen. You could also do this on the smaller scale with some great craft beer, or make it non-alcoholic with large bottles of lemonade or sparkling water.

You will need

  • Two bottles of wine
  • A large thin kitchen towel

How to

  1. Lay out your towel and center your two bottles on one corner of the towel.
  2. Roll up the towel with the bottles in it
  3. Bring the opposite ends of the towel together and tie them

So the next time you need to head to the lake or drop in at a friends al fresco lunch, just roll up your bottles in a towel and save your other hand for ringing the door bell!
