DIY Thankful String Art Tutorial

It’s a brand new year and for me that means a rush of creativity! My mind has been spinning lately of different ideas of DIY’s to make, projects around the house and new things to try!

If you’re like me, you might be thinking I want to be more creative this year, but not really sure where to start with that. Queue this fabulous project from Corey at TinySidekick! I am obsessed with string art and she has one of the best projects I’ve seen lately. string-art

Although this was made to be a Thanksgiving/fall inspired project, I think it’s perfect for any time of year and especially for continuing the gratitude season from the holidays!

Since my style is slightly modern I wanted to keep with that vibe going into the holidays.  I had seen a lot of string art around and thought that a string art sign would make the perfect geometric and modern decoration that I was needing.  I love the way this “Thankful” string art sign turned out and was able to figure out how to use more than one color for a really cool effect.
