DIY Fall Wreath

To make this DIY Fall Wreath, you will need a few items:

  • foam wreath form
  • faux Fall colored flowers
  • burlap
  • thread
  • scissors and snippers

To get started, I grabbed my burlap and wrapped it a few times around the top of my wreath form.  I then cut a piece to make a little bow to go on top.  This is the one step I don’t actually have pictures of, but I promise it really easy.  You just take a piece of burlap double the size of the bow you want, fold it in half, and then cinch down the middle.  Tie the middle together with some thread and and you are done.

Next, it’s time to make the actual floral piece of the wreath.

Take the flowers and the snippers and start cutting your flowers down off of the stem. After you have all of the flowers snipped, start placing them directly into the foam wreath.  Because it is foam, you just stick the flowers directly where you want them placed and they stay! No need for wires or glue.

Once that piece was finished, it was time to add some tails to the bow, and I did that by cutting a piece of burlap and then attaching that to the bow and wreath with a foam connector.
